I have yet to use the castor oil shampoo & conditioner combo set, but I have used the other kinds such as the rice protein, tea tree mint, coconut oil, and more. I’m excited to use this product. I have never found another brand like kit-Sch! I have a dry scalp and brittle hair. I’ve been using this brand for almost a year. The results I have found are AMAZING! My hair has never been this thick and glossy. It’s sooo healthy today, and my scalp is not as dry. I genuinely love this brand, and I recommend it to everyone I know. I know of 3 people I have convinced to purchase this shampoo & conditioner and they LOVE IT. They have told me very good things. They say they will not use another brand as they can see how good this brand is for your hair. If you’re wanting to try this brand, try it. You’ll never go back to bottled. The bars last me MONTHS & I mean MONTHS. Dove shampoo & conditioner set is roughly $15-thats the cheap dove too that last about 2 weeks. Kit-Sch shampoo & conditioner set is $24-$28 and it lasts about 6-8 months for me. I’m saving money, and it’s good for my hair. I pray this brand does not get bought out by big corporations. We NEED more brands like this one. The owners should be very proud of themselves for creating a high quality, healthy, affordable, & sustainable brand with equally as good products.

I've been using the Kitsch Castor Oil shampoo and conditioner for some time, and the transformation in my hair's texture and moisture levels is truly remarkable. I use this set more than any other and the castor oil infused in these products has worked wonders, making my hair unbelievably soft and deeply moisturized . My hair feels luxuriously silky and looks visibly healthier. Each wash infuses more hydration and nourishment, making detangling a breeze and styling much easier. This shampoo and conditioner duo has become a crucial part of maintaining my hair's health, keeping it smooth and hydrated day after day.

I tried the shampoo + conditioner for the first time yesterday.

You can either rub it in the hands - bring it to foam, then apply it to the scalp & hair or by putting the soap directly into the hair.

To the shampoo: when applying I find it foams well. However, when rinsing down, the hair feels very dry & rough. But that doesn't mean anything.

Since then I have hardly scratched my scalp & shows a clear effect there!

To the conditioner: does not foam. When applied, the hair immediately feels softer. You should comb your hair with your fingers in the shower. That was relatively feasible. After rinsing, the hair was immediately very soft & a very pleasant feeling.

After air drying my hair was wavier / curly than with the Dm shampoo from Germany with silicones etc.

One day later my hair is still very soft & feels very good.

You can tell that both do something with the hair. You can clearly see that there are no silicones, sulfates etc. in it.

In general, the shampoo gets a 9th grade due to the feeling of dryness & roughness, because I personally don't like it. The conditioner gets a 10. In total, 5 stars!

I’ve tried everything under the sun for Haircare: Verb, Ouaidad, Briogeo, Redken, Amika, OUAI, Livingproof, Pureology, drugstore brands like Tresemme; Suave, Loreal, Dove, Pantene, etc. Nothing has ever worked for my hair, or has been a consistent product, usually gets to a point where I need to clarify, leaves my strands sticky, frizzy, my scalp dry, or all of the above. I have fine, high density 2C-3A waves/curls that are *heavily* colored treated, and more recently highlighted. I also have a super dry, tight scalp post Accutane (1 year ago) and it’s gotten worse since I’ve turned 25. I was close to giving up as I felt like I’ve tried everything and figured I needed to just settle for something.

I came across these because I was actually making a return to Ulta for the Pureology Hydrate line- it overly moisturized my strands to the point it was causing further damage and split ends from hygral fatigue, while also causing major tightness, dryness and irritation to my scalp to the point it was truly painful, the only thing that would work was putting Amika Hydro Rush mask on my scalp (how does that even make sense?). Well, the cashier (godsend) told me about these and said they were a game changer for her. I was a little iffy about them because every shampoo and conditioner bar I’ve tried has left my hair oily, coated with residue and stuck together. Not these.

For one, I truly do feel like my hair and scalp is cleaned. It doesn’t leave my hair squeaky, dry, frizzy,…

I’ve only used this for a couple weeks, but I love it so far I tend to get bumps all over my arms and legs, and I get extremely dry despite using lotion throughout the day, including eczema patches on the back of my knees. I’ve tried everything and this is the first thing that has dramatically reduced, the spots and bumps on my legs as well as moisturized them throughout the day. I feel a softening of my eczema patches, but they’re still present though this is not an eczema bar so I still call that a win.

OMG!! Using this shampoo bar was an experience you can’t wait to share. Skeptical at first- using a bar on my thick curly hair -born of mixed ethnicities … thank God I was overwhelmingly impressed. Curls were bouncy & vibrant immediately after shampooing- b4 adding conditioner... Love ❤️.. love your products . .. anxious to try out others

I'm in love! I was skeptical switching to bar shampoo just because it was outside my comfort zone but I'm amazed. I've always been conscious of staying away from harmful chemicals but this takes the cake.

I use the "painting" method on my scalp and the lather is so rich. It doesn't feel dry, but rather nourishing and cleansing. I actually think I "painted" too much because it was SO MUCH lather. A little goes a long way.

I paired it with the Shea Butter Conditioner bar and I'm absolutely sold. This was after my first use and I can't wait see the results after a few weeks transitioning from traditional product to clean Kitsch bars. I'm about to order a couple more for a nice rotation. Thank you Kitsch!

REFERENCE: Long natural blonde hair, thick and curly/wavy texture, frizz control issues and mild dandruff. Dryness/greasy spells depending on what products I'm using and environment I'm in as I live in Florida (humid) and Las Vegas (dry) throughout the year.

I recently tried the castor oil shampoo and conditioner line and LOVE it! It has a very light sweet scent and made my hair feel cleansed and moisturized without feeling heavy. I also put the new leave-in conditioner on my ends. It feels light and has a nice scent! With Kitsch hair products, I feel like I’m really taking care of my hair for the first time—I never got into buying expensive products at the salon. I’m super happy with Kitsch’s affordable products and I’m feeling like I’m finally taking care of my hair the way I’ve always taken care of my skin—Kitsch is hair care for hair like skin care is for skin! I’m a Kitsch customer for life! Highly recommend! Thank you, Kitsch!

PS The Kitsch shampoo and conditioner bags are so awesome and make using the products super easy and convenient!!! I now have two shampoo and conditioner sets (this Castor oil line and the Rosemary & Biotin line) and Kitsch body wash bar set.

I've been using the castor oil shampoo & the rosemary and biotin conditioners for a couple of weeks now.

I was pleasantly surprised by the luxurious lather ESPECIALLY from a bar!

I've noticed baby hairs coming in already too!

Also my hair looks and feels great so far!

I will DEFINITELY purchase again!
