홀리데이 듀오: 러스틱 바닐라 + 오크 & 앰버

I love Kitsch products and use them almost exclusively. I’m going to do my best to describe this scent, because I realize that perfume is a highly individualized preference and choice. What I don’t like might be the very reason you love it. I love feeling that a scent is elevated and has subtle notes of something else that keeps me guessing. I love when it remains like a whisper all day, and I constantly feel like it is reinventing itself as it sits on my skin. I feel like a lot of the Kitsch hair perfumes do this, which is amazing, especially for the price point. When I purchased warm sugar, I didn’t really expect to like it as much as I ended up liking it. I usually don’t go for sweet, cloying scents. I don’t want to smell like a cupcake. But it was sophisticated and elevated. I felt like through the day I was constant saying oh my gosh Yum. I absolutely fell in love with warm sugar when I didn’t expect to. I was hoping that rustic vanilla would be on the same plane – sweet but somehow more sophisticated and elevated. I do think vanilla lovers will really like it. For me, it was kind of one dimensional. It does have some body to it, which is why I gave it four stars. I can smell that it is more complex and nuanced than just the smell of plain vanilla. But I was disappointed that it seemed to lack the depth and complexity of warm sugar, which to me felt like it was constantly blooming into something more beautiful throughout the day as time passed.
