We’re proud to be recognized as a self-financed, female & minority-owned global accessory brand built on positivity and pure hard work. Established in 2010, with a business plan no longer than a paragraph, we’ve grown Kitsch from door-to-door sales to selling products in over 27 countries across 20,000 retail locations worldwide.

We pride ourselves on creating new products and packaging with eco-friendly and recycled materials. Overall, more than 40% of our products use sustainable materials, which helps minimize waste and contribute to a more planet-friendly industry. With one recycled product, our goal remains to expand our product portfolio of conscious beauty.

• We prioritize the use of paper packaging, using it across 98% of our products. This renewable resource is our go-to material for its lower carbon emissions and easy recyclability, especially compared to traditional packaging materials.
• We encourage lower energy consumption through our products, like heatless curlers that eliminate the need for heat in the hair curling process. This contributes to more efficient energy usage and eco-friendly practices in our business and community’s daily lives.
• We invested in highly efficient lighting systems throughout our warehouse as a proactive step in our environmental responsibility journey to reduce our carbon footprint.

Simplifying Our Packaging for Less Wasteful Beauty
We’ve thoughtfully designed products, packaging, and processes that eliminate unnecessary waste and harmful-to-the-planet practices.
• Biodegradable packaging: implemented to minimize the ecological impact of packaging waste and contribute to a more responsible product lifecycle.
• Recycled & reusable product materials: used to craft our high-quality hair accessories for a more circular economy that generates less waste and encourages a more eco-friendly industry.
• Eco-friendly warehouse materials: incorporated throughout our facility to minimize waste and environmental impact across our business processes.
• Community rehabilitation initiatives: to support new and emerging projects in underserved communities. Our near-term project is a $10,000 commitment to the Uganda Rehabilitation Community Well.
